SDRAM
A Memory Solution for the Long Term
We have one of the
broadest offerings of SDRAM memory in the industry today. You can select from several densities (64Mb to 512Mb); extended operating temperatures; and various clock rates, cycle times, and package types to get just what you need. And our SDRAM is built on a foundation of known and reliable semiconductor technology. It offers a relatively simple, cost-effective, and easy-to-implement memory option for both new and existing designs.
DDR SDRAM
Still an Ideal Choice for Some New Designs
When we introduced our DDR SDRAM, it was revolutionary and pioneering technology. DDR allows applications to transfer data on both the rising and falling edges of a clock signal, doubling bandwidth and vastly improving performance over SDR SDRAM. Basically, DDR gives you source-synchronous data capture at twice the clock frequency; i.e. 133 MHz equals DDR-266. To achieve this functionality, we use a 2n-prefetch architecture where the internal data bus is double the size of the external data bus, so data capture can happen two times each clock cycle.
Because DDR continues to be the ideal choice for many new designs, we're committed to long-term product support and availability.

Mobile LPDRAM
Optimizing Performance in Low-Power Applications
Our family of Low Power Mobile DRAM solutions are built to consume less power without sacrificing performance. Mobile LPDDR2 operates with a JEDEC-standard 1.2V power supply and I/O. Mobile LPSDR and LPDDR use a JEDEC-standard 1.8V power supply and I/O. To further cut power consumption, Mobile LPDRAM makes use of advanced power-saving features, like temperature-compensated self refresh (TCSR) and partial-array self refresh (PASR) modes on-chip.
